Stage 5: Guard Yard Control

Read patrol rhythm and commit to one clean line through open space.

Updated: July 17, 2026

Main Goal

Time your movement between guard patterns and avoid indecisive route switching in exposed lanes.

Guard yard patrol windows with route A and route B timing zones.

Top Mistakes

Players often hesitate at split points, then get trapped by moving threats while trying to recover line.

A common reset trigger is entering yard center without full visibility on the next patrol sweep, then forcing a blind jump.

Fix Pattern

Pick route A or B before entering yard center. If the line closes, pause one cycle and restart timing instead of forcing a blind jump.

Keep your camera slightly above target and commit to straight exits. Side weaving in open lanes increases collision risk.

2-Minute Micro Drill

Practice entry timing only: hold start point, count patrol beats, execute one clean crossing, reset, and repeat for six cycles.

Advance Rule

Advance when you can choose route branch within one second at split point without stopping movement rhythm.
